  • Jessica Kitchens, MS, MBA, LPC, LADAC, MAC, RPT, BCCS

    CEO / FOUNDER

    Âû Therapist, Consultant, Coach, Author, & Speaker

    Jessica has been a therapist for the past 16 years. She continues to operate her own private practice, Kitchens Counseling Services, PLLC, which she has owned since 2011. Jessica specializes in substance use, play therapy, and is a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist. She has lived experience as a late-diagnosed autistic with a PDA profile, and a mother of five children (ages 11-24), several of which are diagnosed AuDHD, and the youngest with PDA as well. Jessica, her husband of 25 years, and her children have called NW Arkansas home for almost 20 years. Jessica has an undergraduate degree in Human Services Counseling from East Central University in Oklahoma and a dual Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling from John Brown University in Arkansas. Jessica also has an MBA from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Jessica is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Change Leadership for Equity and Inclusion with an emphasis on Community Leadership and Change.

    In her spare time, she likes to write and research areas of interest, spend time in nature, run, skate, work out, dabble in art on occasion, and spend time with her friends and family. Jessica has a strong love for working with neurodivergent individuals and hopes to make a brighter future for those in her community.

    Jessica is currently only accepting consulting and seminar training appointments at this time.

  • Regena Edster, MS, LPC, LMFT

    CLINICAL THERAPIST

    Regena is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a passion for fostering healing and resilience in individuals and families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Services in 2005, followed by a dual Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling in 2008—both from John Brown University.

    Regena works with individuals, couples, and families across a broad range of concerns, including relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, and trauma. She is also experienced in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, and is committed to providing a neurodiversity-affirming approach that honors each client’s unique ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. Regena integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her work as a powerful modality for trauma recovery and emotional processing.

    Her mission is to create a therapeutic space where relationships are supported, personal growth is encouraged, and clients feel deeply understood within their holistic and cultural contexts. Regena strives to recognize and build upon each client’s strengths, promoting healing through connection, compassion, and collaboration.

    She currently has limited availability on Mondays and Thursdays for both new and returning clients.

  • Andrea Cole, MS, LPC, LMFT

    CLINICAL THERAPIST

    Andrea is a highly experienced mental health professional with 15 years of dedicated service in the field. In 2001, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arkansas, laying a solid foundation for her career. Driven by a passion for helping others, Andrea went on to achieve a Master of Science in Community Counseling and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University in 2008.

    During her graduate studies, Andrea honed her skills working at a residential treatment center for children and teens. Her career progressed as she took on roles in therapeutic day treatment centers, where she excelled in providing individual, family, and group therapy. Andrea’s extensive experience includes several years as a school-based counselor, where she collaborated closely with teachers, parents, and guardians to support students' mental health.

    Andrea’s commitment to expanding her expertise led her to complete an advanced play therapy program with Heartland Play Therapy, further enhancing her ability to connect with and help her clients. She has also operated her own successful private practice in Northwest Arkansas, where she offered intensive in-home therapy and tailored therapeutic services.

    Currently, Andrea holds dual licensure in Arkansas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She remains actively involved in the professional community as a member of the Arkansas Mental Health Counselors Association, attending their conference annually to stay at the forefront of the field.

    Andrea is passionate about helping individuals of all ages—from children to adults—navigate life’s challenges and achieve their personal goals. She brings a wealth of experience in working with diverse populations, including those facing trauma, mental health struggles, and various diagnoses. Her compassionate and personalized approach ensures that each client receives the care and support they need to become the best version of themselves.

    Outside of her professional life, Andrea enjoys spending quality time with her family. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, creating art, traveling, and playing board games. An animal lover at heart, Andrea finds joy in connecting with nature and her furry friends.

  • Brandon Thurman, CLINICAL INTERN

    Brandon Thurman (they/he) is a student in the Master’s of Rehabilitation Counseling program at the University of Arkansas. Their approach to counseling is grounded in mindfulness approaches, working to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to explore awareness, embodiment, and healing. Taking a holistic approach, he strives to hold space for clients’ emotional, spiritual, and physical selves, while acknowledging the role of systemic and cultural factors. 

    Brandon works with adults, adolescents, and children ages 11 and older, providing individual, family, and couples therapy for a variety of issues. Being neurodivergent himself, Brandon is passionate about serving the neurodivergent, disability, and LGBTQIA+ communities.

    In their free time, you can find Brandon hiking and camping throughout the Ozarks, taking a day trip to explore a new city, reading too many books at the same time, or cooking an overly elaborate meal for themself. 

  • Bri McClaflin, MS, LPC, NCC

    CLINICAL THERAPIST

    Bri (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) working with individuals via telehealth in Arkansas. Bri has over a decade of experience in various roles, working with individuals with ASD, ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and other mental health disorders. Bri received her Bachelor's in Psychology and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience working with individuals in various mental health settings and with diverse populations. 

    As a therapist, her primary focus is to help clients embrace their strengths and achieve their goals. She firmly believes that all clients should be treated with unconditional positive regard and empathy. Bri considers it a privilege that others choose to share their hopes and dreams with her, as we are all walking this journey of life together. She believes that her role is to walk beside clients and to offer them a safe space, as well as tools and strategies to navigate life. She works heartfully, compassionately, collaboratively, and intuitively with individuals that she serves. As someone who is a late-diagnosed autistic, Bri desires to help others better understand their neurodivergent minds. Bri resides in NW Arkansas with her partner, their 4 cats, and their dog. When she is not working, she enjoys the benefits of mindfulness, meditation, reading, writing, and being in nature. 

    Bri currently has availability on Fridays at this time, via telehealth only.
